Elafonisi Beach Tour
Introduction
Elafonisi beach is located at the Southwest part of Crete approximately 75km of Chania town. It is a remarkable area of natural beauty. The sand is pink and white. The pink color comes from the millions of pink and red seashells that have been broken into small pieces with the passage of the year. The water is clean with a strong blue and green color.
The beach is well organized with sun beds and umbrellas. During the day there are lifeguards and the municipality of Kissamos operates a canteen where you can have a snack and refreshment.
Across the beach it is the Elafonissi Island. If you want you can walk through the shallow water to the island. Behind the island there is hidden a small beautiful beach. The distance to walk to the island is about 150m.

The program
From 08: 00 till 08:55 in the morning the bus will stop to all the pickup points to take all the passengers that will join the trip to Elafonisi beach.
Approximately at 08:55 all the pasengers are on board, the bus is at Kolymbari village and at 09:00 the trip beggins!
First the bus will drive west towards Kissamos. After 15kms it will exit the highway and from Kaloudiana village it will turn south and it will follow the road through the inland. During the way to Elafonisi the guide will give you a sightseeing tour and also he will provide you useful information for the places you are about to visit.
The next stop is Elafonisi beach where you will stay for four hours. The beach is well organized with sun beds and sun umbrellas.
After 4 hours the bus departs from Elafonisi and after 20 minutes there is Elos village where it will make a stop to a tavern. There you can have a meal or you can buy refreshment.
Between 19:00 and 19:30 you are back to your hotels and the journey to Elafonisi is over.
