General Information,

The village of Agia Marina is located 9 kms west of Chania town. It is a well organized and popular tourist resort for the summer.

The beach of Agia Marina is part of the 25kms blue flag awarded beach from Chania to Kolympari. It is a sandy beach, the water is clean and it is organized with sun beds and umbrellas and during the day there is a lifeguard. Also, in Agia Marina beach you can try water sports like jet skiing or you can rent a sea pedal and move around Theodorou island. Theodorou Island is across the beach but because it is a preservation area for the Cretan wild goat you cannot explore it.

 Agia Marina offers great night life. There are many tavernas, restaurants, cocktail bars and beach bars for dancing day and night. Also, there is a pharmacy, super market, souvenir shops, book store and bakery.

It is a great place for holidays near the beach with well organized tourism infrastructure.
